Shit Robot - "Is There No End?" 2016

Directed by Jayson Green & Andrew Reuland

Using small cameras and a body harness, Is There No End was shot in a completely guerrilla style on the streets, in the bars and the bathrooms of New York City. Our protagonist slogs through a sad, funny and sometimes terrifying night out.

Is There No End features cameos by Pat Mahoney (LCD Soundsystem/Museum of Love), Al Doyle (Hot Chip/LCD Soundsystem), Ahmed Gallab (Sinkane) and other DFA alums. The drugs are fake but the sadness is real.

Jay was hired by lcd to interview the crowd before their final show at Madison Square Garden (08/11/11). These interviews then aired on the jumbotron between the first and second sets. There were signs all over the venue stating that by attending the show you were consenting to be filmed and all interviewees were informed and consented to be filmed.
